Island Ukuleles provides students with the opportunity to raise funds for the program and for their individual accounts. Every student has an account in which they are credited funds for the fundraising that they do. This money can be accessed to pay for registration, materials, trips or other Island Ukuleles related expenses while the student is actively enrolled in the program. When the student leaves Island Ukuleles, the funds are transferred back into a general account for program expenses. Participation in fundraising events is optional.
